Public Lecture – Sydney Harbour – A History

“Sydney Harbour has defined the life of those who have lived around it for Millennia: a means of communication, a barrier, a resource, a site of commerce and trade and a place of beauty, spirit and meaning” Ian Hoskins

We were honoured to have archeologist, Dr. Val Attenbrow from the Australian Museum and historian Dr. Ian Hoskins, both celebrated historians and authors deliver an engaging lecture, on the story of indigenous and colonial uses of Sydney Harbour – revealing the extraordinary history of life on and around our most iconic natural asset.

It was a great night.  SIMS would like to thank our speakers and supporters for making the night a success.
